My wildlife photography has been featured in wildlife magazines. It is not a separate discipline so much as the same habit: slow down, wait, and watch for the moment that actually says something.

Meet Rick

Nice to meet you.

I'm Rick Souza, the photographer behind Graphix Capture, based in Fall River, Massachusetts. I'm drawn to photographs with feeling: a real expression, a fleeting connection, a moment you'll want to keep.

I hold a Master of Social Work and have experience working with children and adults who experience anxiety. That background shapes the way I photograph people: with patience, clear guidance, and space to settle in. If you or your child feels nervous in front of the camera, you're welcome here.

Sessions are judgment-free. Come as you are, at whatever size, age or comfort level you're at, and bring whoever you want with you. I speak conversational Portuguese and can follow some Spanish, so if it's easier to talk things through that way, just say so.

My wildlife photography has been featured in wildlife magazines. Whether I'm photographing a person or the natural world, my approach starts the same way: slow down, pay attention, and notice what makes the subject unique.

Aerial photography

Aerial coverage is on the way. It isn't bookable yet, but if you'd want it for your session, say so in your request and I'll come back to you once it's available — along with what it costs.

Session length, image delivery, location, and any additional costs are agreed upon before your booking is confirmed.

All are welcome here.

Almost nobody walks in feeling photogenic. Most people tell me they hate having their picture taken, usually about ten minutes before we make something they end up loving.

No judgment about any of it. Bring whoever you want, wear whatever you want, and we'll go at whatever pace suits you.

Visiting the area

Here for a few days?

The South Coast, the Cape, Newport and Boston are all worth photographing. Harbor light, stone walls, the water at the end of almost every road. If you're visiting and want photographs while you're here, send a request and tell me roughly where you'll be staying.

Travelling families, couples away for the weekend, a holiday rental full of relatives at Christmas — anyone who wants something better than a phone photo to remember their time away.

Travel beyond the South Coast is no problem. Any travel cost is agreed with you before you book.
